Questions
Do my guests need to download an app or create an account?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their normal phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. No app, no sign-up, no email address.
What happens to my QR codes when I change the menu or prices?
Nothing — they keep working. QR codes point to your restaurant and table, not to a specific version of the menu, so every edit appears instantly.
How does “Request a waiter” know which table it is?
Every table has its own QR code containing a random, secure token. The request is routed using that token only, so it always reaches the correct table — and you can revoke a code at any time.
Can guests spam the waiter button?
No. A table can only have one active request at a time, there's a short cooldown after a request is completed, and requests are rate-limited per device.
Can my waiters use it without seeing settings or billing?
Yes. Invite staff as waiters and they only see the live request board. Managers can edit the menu and tables; only the owner manages billing and ownership settings.
Where is my data stored?
On the server where this platform is installed. Guest analytics are privacy-conscious: no names, emails or IP addresses are stored for menu visits.
Can I print the QR codes myself?
Yes. Download any code as SVG or high-resolution PNG, or a print-ready A4 PDF with branded table cards including your logo and the table name.
